 regulates is members through a strict Code of Conduct;
provides financial protection to consumers via the operation of a trust
account.
Many Travel Agents state that they operate Trust Accounts, but only TTA members can provide consumers with
peace of mind. TTA members distinguish themselves from other travel organisations that operate Trust Accounts
by adhering to the strict Code of Conduct including monthly monitoring of the Trust Account and its
activity by an independent trustee [a Banker, Chartered or Certified Accountant, or
Solicitor appointed by the Association].
How does it operate?
All payments received are held in a independently operated Trust Account, and a Safe Seat Plan
is issued to you with a unique identifying number. The Trust Account, plus the Safe Seat Plan insurance
coverage will ensure that all the monies paid is safely protected, and available to pay for the
services you have booked.
